An addition to Profiles and Gate Parking.
If possible could this be implemented in profiles,i use Fenix A320 and Headwinds A330,could say Gate 502 Med be used for Fenix A320 and 533 Large for Headwinds A330 and have Designated Parking attached to said profiles, rather than trying to remember before or just after touchdown to change gate for said a/c.

Wonder if it would be possible to remove this prompt, which appears when you have an FP adjustment. As I nearly always do have an adjustment, this is just one extra, (IMHO unnecessary) prompt - you end up at the FP Adjustment window in any case, even if you click 'No', from where you can abort or use the altitudes you have set. In any case, I guess most people want to see the adjustments before they decide whether they want to use them or not?

Just a small thing, I know :)

It shouldn't go to the FP Adjust page automatically unless you have that option set in Advanced Options

Yes, I do have it set to go there automatically, since I so often add adjustments. Was just suggesting that that particular prompt is an 'extra layer' that serves no useful purpose (IMHO!!) :-)

I think it’s there as a reminder for people who don’t have the option set in advanced options to tell them that there are changes. I for one am happy to have as many prompts and reminders on things to stop you accidentally starting or deleting something or accepting automatic corrections by mistake ;)

Fair enough, if some find it helpful - it's only one extra click :-)

One little thing - when I ask for a level change, I am often given 1000' at a time, so that if I am wanting to go from say 32,000' to 38,000', I have to make six separate requests ((like my current flight). Could there be a minimum of a 2000' increment? Also, on an airway, I think that changing by 1000' can put you into the path of traffic coming in the opposite direction (odd flight levels, west-east; even, east-west?).

(In X-Plane, I can't ask for a specific altitude - it doesn't work, unfortunately).

Thanks

:)

Martin - you should be able to use the keys 2 upwards to request a greater altitude change.

Either hold down L or H and then press the required key - or press L or H and follow quickly with the number key. Different users seem to find one of those works best.

Hope that helps,

John

Dave M. is aware of this. Nothing to be done about it I think. X-Plane just doesn't respond to the key combinations necessary.
