I'm trying to install pro flight emulator on my win7 x64 machine but i can't install it.When I run the installer it asks me for my email and serial which it accepts and then goes on to pick its default directory which I change and it goes on to install.Thing is that it says installation successful but it didn't install anything.Nothing. I have UAC turned off.

Am I missing something ?

Thanks

Vic

For installation problems you really need to contact Aerosoft support, but if it says it's installed but doesn't work I'm assuming it creates a desktop item or start menu item.

So firstly you should not instal into C:\program files when using Win 7 because it's a protected folder and can cause many issues.

Secondly you could download and instal the latest cumulative updates package from our support forum, when doing so please ensure you stop all other programs, especially your anti virus and any other security type programs you might have.

Hope that helps

Dave,

I tired posting ont he aerosoft forum but so far I wa sonly asked if I ran the installer as admin and if my uac was turned off so no big help yet.

As far as the accumulative" update is concerned i tried installing it but it looks like you need to have the softrware installed first :( and I don't have it

Thanks

Yes. I think I was trying to install the software while it was still sandboxed. I hit "disable forced programs" in sandboxie, launched the browser and downloaded the software again and all was good.
