All,
When installing FDC for the first time don't install into the default location of C:\Program Files.

The installer automatically points to that location,so please to avoid any issues with FDC create your own directory ie:C: and FDC will create a folder called FDC...

Follow this simple instruction and you can avoid a good majority of problems.....

Just to add to Dave's post.

Installing into the C:\Programs File folder only causes issues on Vista and Win 7 systems, because those operating systems regard that directory as 'protected' and can prevent files from being written and/or updated.

The installer points to that particular folder because it was written a long time before Vista hit the shelves!
