Hello, As I was about 12 miles out from landing, the ATC changed runways from 36 to 18. Eighteen which is no ILS. As I wanted to get vectored in, I asked for vectoring and received the response of "Unable to comply" or similar. My question is, when runways switch to a non-ILS is it possible to get vectored in as with no STAR and SID? Thanks.

Can you please upload the log for this flight, if you still have it, so we can see exactly what happened.

Thanks,
Martin

You should automatically get vectored for the new approach, but without a log we can't tell what happened.

Hello,

I have flown a new flight since this flight, would the log file be saved as an older one or does that mean it's deleted?

It should be there as old_debug_monitor.log if you've only made one further flight.

Incidentally, Hotkey #7 (Request Vectors) does not mean request vectors to finals. It's used following ATC telling you you're off the airway, to get vectors back the correct course
