I have PFE running now without hitches, but one (very annoying): Nearly every flight, some FL changes from ATC aren't voiced. If I have my CP handle com and anwers, he is replying to FL changes that weren't spoken by ATC. If I do my replies myself, I always miss them.

Is there a way to avoid that?

It sounds like you have a bad installation. Please download and instal the cumulative updates package from the support forum. Please ensure you turn off all other programs when doing so, especially your anti virus and any other security type programs.

No, I found the service pack :-)

However, the problem remains. Did install the service pack as admin in Win7 64 bit. I did two identical flights from EDDM to ELLX.

Flight 1: One ascending instruction (FL 140 to FL180) missing.
Flight 2: "Readback correct, contact..." on ground missing, one ascending instruction (FL100 to FL150) missing.

What else could I try?

What Anti Virus packages are you using?

None. Even defender is completely turned off.

Here's some additional info: I now tried to install the SP with the second method. All went fine except two things:

Newcallsigns.exe -dir –overwrite produced a "no file found"
Atis_01.exe –overwrite produced the same message.

Newwavfiles and atis_02 however didn't produce these messages.

Well something is amiss if you have those files missing. The files are in the download, otherwise we would have been inundated with problems

Ok, didn't start them from the shell, but with start as admin from the GUI, and this worked. However, the missing instructions are still there. They are completely random, as far as I can tell, they range from missing climb and descend instructions to not telling me to switch from delivery to ground.

I'll try three things now (cumulative):

1) A complete reinstall
2) binding the program to core 0 and set the priority to above normal
3) running it in XP compatibility mode.

I did a complete reinstall, eactly sticking to the steps laid out in the sticky section of the forum. It seems to have done the trick. Fingers crossed :-)
